Painting by Chinedu Chidebe
Inspiration: I've always been fascinated with the concept of a virtual reality headset and the way I can relate it to how we live, these paintings reflect on the life of the average young person like myself out there facing harsh realities that they wish could disappear in a second. A lot of time we chose to live with the realities we have created inside our heads which is more preferable, yet false, leaving us extremely vulnerable to digest any trash flying around the internet in a highly opinionated modern world. In an attempt to escape these harsh realities, some of us have successfully resort to drug use as it could make us feel better for a while.
